It is a very good product, but the price is high. I was surprised after buying it from Amazon. I found it at Costco, all four filters for the same price as two here.

I ordered 2 lifestraws that were advertised to filter 4000 liters or 1000 gallons. I received 2 lifestraws that only filter 1000 liters or 264 gallons. That's a big difference in the amount of water these will filter. False advertising.

We took these with us to a camping trip down at the gorge. There’s literally a river carving through most of it, so water is plentiful. These stupid things were impossible to use, it took 5+ minutes of teeth-fracturing sucking to get the flow started and once you got it started, the amount of water was minuscule. We followed the directions to a T, made sure to store them properly between use and saw no success in the entire 4 days we were trying to use them.

This product exposes you to cancer causing chemicals with use. I returned it once I saw the warning. If a product can be produced without harmful chemical substances why not just do that? These companies and their greed at the expense of our health is disgusting
